Carlisle Introduces New Lens for SunPath Tubular Skylight - Carlisle announces the availability of the Aurora™ diffuser, a high-performance assmembly for its SunPath tubular skylights.  The SunPath Aurora is a triple-layer configuration that features two clear acrylic diffusers with the Aurora lens sandwiched in the middle.  The Aurora lens is manufactured from the same material used by a competitor in its "Fresnel lens."

The Aurora is available in all tubular diameters, as well as the 2'x2' round-to-square diffuser that ships with the SunPath Tubular Office Kit.

Carlisle SunWeld™ Conventional Skylights - Carlisle introduces the SunWeld™ conventional skylight, an aluminum-framed skylight manufactured to any size for new or retrofit applications.  All SunWeld units feature fully welded aluminum frames, with or without a thermal break option.  The self-flashing curbed units are factory-assembled and the double-walled aluminum construction is filled with one-inch mounting flange for easy installation to the roof deck.  All units are manufactured with gutters for condensate control.  Click below to download the SunWeld Skylight Sell Sheet.

Carlisle Sure-Flex™ KEE FRS FleeceBACK - Carlisle is pleased to introduce Sure-Flex™ KEE FRS FleeceBACK.  This membrane features a combination of Dupont™ Elvaloy® copolymer, fiberglass reinforcing scrim and Carlisle's polyester fleece backing.  Elvaloy KEE copolymer enhances the weatherability, flexibility, chemical resistance and toughness of PVC sheeting.  Elvaloy KEE is a flexible solid that will not migrate out of the sheet over time, keeping the membrane more pliable and weldable as it ages.  The solid nature of Elvaloy results in less smoke generation during the welding process and the fiberglass reinforcing scrim provides dimensional stability to the sheet in fully adhered applications.

The sheet may be installed using Carlisle's complete line of FAST™ and Flexible FAST Adhesive products.  Three Sure-Flex KEE FRS FleeceBACK membrane thicknesses are available.  To learn more, click on the KEE pdf files at the bottom of this page.

Carlisle Flexible FAST™ Adhesive - Carlisle is pleased to announce the introduction of energy-absorbing, impact-resistant Flexible FAST Adhesive, an industry-leading breakthrough in urethane adhesive technology. Flexible FAST Adhesive features up to 150% elongation, further enhancing the elongating properties of a single-ply roofing system. In addition, in side-by-side dynamic puncture tests Flexible FAST Adhesive increased puncture resistance between 33-50% compared to traditional FAST Adhesive.

The energy-absorbing nature of Flexible FAST makes this, in conjunction with FleeceBACK® membrane, an ideal product for use in Roof Garden, Plaza Paver and Solar Panel applications. An extra four man hours of Accidental Puncture coverage and an extra one inch of Hail Damage coverage will be available when an approved FleeceBACK system utilizes full coverage of Flexible FAST Adhesive.  Go to the "Associated Files" below to download the Flexible FAST Adhesive Data Sheet.

Flexible FAST Adhesive will be stocked in Carlisle and Senatobia initially, and will be replacing traditional FAST 100 Adhesive. FAST 100-LV will continue to be an option in our product line.

Carlisle SynTec Sure-Flex™ PVC-Carlisle is pleased to announce the addition of PVC membrane with standard polyester reinforcement in 10-foot-wide field sheets as well as 5-foot-wide perimeter sheets.

The 10-foot width provides a greater coverage area per sheet and reduces the number of seams required for installation by as much as 30%.  Fewer seams mean a reduction in the amount of labor and time required for installation.  The rolls are ideal for larger areas and when combined with Carlisle's prefabricated accessories provide unmatched labor savings and cost-efficient installations.

FM testing has been performed on these new PVC membrane widths.  Carlisle's 10-foot-wide PVC rolls are available in white, gray and tan and offered in 50-, 60-, and 80-mil thicknesses.  Sheet lengths of these new wider sheets will mirror the lengths of the traditional width sheets of 100, 80, and 65 feet.

Carlisle introduces  Square D Powerlink® and Clipsal® components  - provide comprehensive energy-saving automated lighting control solutions that will interface with Carlisle's Drylight daylighting system. 

Clipsal and Powerlink systems are ideally suited for daylighting applications.  By monitoring ambient light levels, these systems can maintain required light levels, either raising or lowering artificial lighting levels by switching lighting circuits or sending signals to dimming ballasts.  These are also scalable systems that can easily grow to meet the changing needs of a building.

SPECIAL PRODUCTS GROUP:

NEW 3M™ Fire Barrier Duct Wrap 615+ - the only fire rated duct wrap you need for code required protection of grease and air ducts.

Now, in a lighter weight, 6pcf density, it is certified according to ASTM E2336 (grease duct test standard) in two layer systems and ISO 6944 (air duct test standard) in single layer systems.  The product is certified in both UL and Intertek (OPL) and has 1 and 2 hour design listings.
